The Marbella Dress ~ Summer Harvest

'Marbella' means 'beautiful ocean' in Spanish. My first collection 'Marbella' was heavily inspired by my moving to the seaside. I would weave shells with leftover fabrics and make sarongs and bras that could barely cover my body! It was covid, and nothing but insular creativity seemed to make sense! Now gratefully, we are out of that collective stage of our lives. But the original Marbella design still rings true. She is based on a vintage keepsake I held onto for many years and wore day to night - to class, to work, to drinks. Her princess style is flattering on all shapes and her neckline is perfect for those warmer days when you don't want anything to cling. Here we have re-imagined her in a stunning deadstock crepe-de-chine. Sustainably designed and made near Byron Bay, Australia.
